I was lured into doing one of those internet surveys that promised a free laptop if I completed the pages and pages of questions. The survey led to the inevitable "trial offer" and "free stuff" section. One of the trial offers that I selected was for Age Invisible Age Defense cream. The offer stated that for just $2.41 I would receive a Risk-free trial sample of this product. By clicking the "submit" button I agreed to their PRIVACY Policy which addressed only issues related to information collected. There was no mention of any other committments, obligations, complicated cancellation policies or joing the "club".

A few days later I received an email stating that the product had been shipped; an invoice for the $2.41 was embedded into that email. The email was formatted in such a way that this invoice appeared to be the end of the email. It wasn't until a few weeks later when I was going through emails that I scrolled down further and found the complicated and convoluted "terms of agreement". These terms stated that by placing the order one agreed to comply with the "risk-free trial" which meant paying $69.41 plus shipping and handling. The risk-free trial is stated as being a 30 day trial, but you only have 15 days from the date of shipping to call the customer service number to cancel. If you are not satisfied you must return the unused portion or else they will bill you $69.41, but before doing so you must call customer service and get a RMA number. This is quite a scam. You too can see their offer for the "risk free trial" on their web site: https://secure.ageinvisible.com/cgi-bin/m/95/index.run?lid=GY4DEMRZ&sub_id=29995 Just remember it will cost you if you don't follow up. I don't know yet if the company will bill me any further, I do know that I am very disturbed by this scam.
