My complaint started in June of 2006 after I got divorced, my mortgage was then with option one mortgage thru h&r block. I requested in writing to have my last name changed, it never was. I was told they never received the copies of divorce decree and new ssn card since then I have sent the information numerous times by mail, fax and certified mail.
I have begged, pleaded, cussed, screamed and cried trying to get it changed. Roughly Oct of 2006 my address went from a rural route address to a 911 address. Again sent information in writing to no avail got the same run around, though they did change the billing address and have no problem accepting my check with the correct information each month. When the mortgage was changed to ahmsi the fight continued and escalated, now not only will they not correct the name and address but they refuse to acknowledge the flood elevation certificate I had done showing I am not in a flood zone, due to this they have added flood insurance to my account that I do not need I am incorrectly being billed for this.
It is starting to hurt my credit since I do not feel I should have to pay for it. Every rep I talk to and over 4 years it has been a lot, some days I have called back repeatedly trying to get someone, anyone to take responsiblity and correct it but each one just says send this next paper or resend it and we can get it taken care of but no one has.
The last supervisor Damingo (refused last name or extension #) I spoke to swore if I would fax a 911 letter and my divorce decree he would get it fixed and get the flood insurance off the account, he left me a message the next day saying he received the fax but just needs more information. I am not sure what else he needs I have sent copies of my divorce decree, my ssn card, w2's with correct name, address and ssn card, a notarized copy of the flood certificate with correct name and address, a 911 letter (took 4 yrs for someone to tell me I needed this I did not know what it was) and filled out the pack of their papers for a loan modification which was denied and all I get is we never got it, we need more info, resend it we can't read it,
They acknowledge they received the pack of papers I sent certified mail package with the original flood certificate, copies of ssn card, license w2's that a rep in what she said was the legal department but have since found out no such department exists or so I was told and so I was told again I had to resend it they never got it. This has got to be stopped they have made my life a living hell with nothing but worry and phone calls to them with me angry and crying, them seeming to say in so many words so sad to bad.
While they did recently finally get the name and address corrected they still refuse to remove the incorrectly billed flood insurance and are now showing me as 90 days pass due even though I have been making my correct mortage payment each month they will not acknowledge them.
