You know it is amazing how ignorant some people are. I have worked for AIBT for over 15 years and they have always been fully accredited, approved by the Department of Education and recognized and approved by the Federal Government. Simple proof of this is that they have the ability to offer Federal loans and grants. I have seen this school grow from a simple trade school up to a senior college, offering diploma programs to Associate degrees to even Bachelors degrees. They are the only non-profit school in the valley unlike your other schools that are more in it for the money. As for the programs they offer such as the CNA and Patient Care Tech. If you have done your homework about these two careers you would know that of course there would be a major price difference. A CNA is the lowest job on the pole for medical field, they are the work horse. They get to change the bed pans and bring food and give patients baths. The program its self is only 4 classes and 6 weeks long. The Patient Care Tech program is 17 classes and 33 weeks long. You get more classes such as Medical Terminology, Medical Law/Ethics, Anatomy/Physiology/Pharmacology, Assisting Physician/ Administration of medication and etc. These two programs are very different just as the jobs you can get with this training is different, in duties and pay. But I guess since the person who wrote this wants the simpler of the two jobs they must also have the simpler mind. Sorry I just really hate people who take a stand and don't know what they are talking about. In conclusion, I think AIBT is an out standing educational institution and a great community resource and I encourage any interested students do their homework about the field they would like to be trained and go in to AIBT and see the excellent education you can get for a very reasonable dollar amount and time.
