AIG Auto Ins & National Union Fire Insurance Co are fraudulent ripoffs. Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania

I was a self-employed nurse who worked as a Paramedical completing exams for clients. On June 23, 1999 I was rear-ended by a woman that did not break until she was within 10 feet of my car. The force of the impact caused me to be thrown against the steering wheel, then my upper body was pushed back against the head rest. I had immediate pain that radiated down my left arm and at first thought I had broken my neck. I always wear my seat belt and received a hugh abrasion across my neck from the force of the impact.

Of course the woman did not have any insurance and apparently she left the state shortly afterwards.
Of course I felt somewhat relieved that I had adaquate coverage to take care of my totaled auto. Thus began my journey into the world of crooks and shisters, people that have refused to help me in anyway, my medical bills were not paid until I had been turned over for collection and I had exhausted all my savings. My business was relatively successful, but required that I do the marketing of insurance agents and completing the exams.
From June 23, 1999 until Oct. 25, 2001 I was in constant pain that limited my ability to work.

Over these 3 years, this company has taken advantage of my situation. I have been lied to, victimized and feel totally raped by an unscrupulous company. After seeing 3 orthopedic surgeons, having cortisone injections, EMG's, cervical epidurals without relief of my symptoms I was finally able to see a sports medicine orthopeditist who ordered a MRI with a diagnosis of a torn rotator cuff and a very large bone spur on the end of my shoulder bone.
By the time I saw this doctor, I could not even hook my seatbelt or comb my hair.

The surgery did the trick, but this company refused to admit that I sustained this injury during the accident. I had gotten an attorney in June 2000, but in spite of going to court 2-3 times, had a judgment against this company, they have jerked me around and stalled and lied to me. I am now bankrupt, going from making 3-4 thousand $'s a month to making barely $1000. I had always had auto insurance, and believed that I would be taken care of by having the medical bills paid, my car replaced and by paying me the $50,000 in uninsured motorist coverage that I had paid for all those years.

I had never had a wreck before, but it has made me realize that most insurance companies are unwilling to fulfill their policy terms, but if you are ever late with a payment, you're history. After all the grief I have gone through with these crooks, I decided to try and just settle without a trial. Well, I'm still waiting on the amount agreed upon which was supposed to be $10,000, period. That was months ago and still no sign of any money. My husband has cancer now and I must work full time at a doctor's office at a great reduction in salary. But, my husband needs me at home at night and requires close follow up with his doctor.

Needless to say, I am thorougly discusted with being jerked around, taken advantage of just because I am a woman. If I can keep just one person from having to endure what has happened to me, it is worth this report. If you ever even think about doing business with ANY AIG CO, please stop, pray and then go somewhere else for your auto insurance. These people are incompetent and are only interested in stockpiling the money from the people that they are supposed to take care of.
