Cheapoair.com Scammed me into not cancelling my airline ticket for a refund and never returned calls. New York New York

Cheapoair.com sold me a ticket from New York to Dakar, Senegal, West Africa with a really bad route with connection in France. When I realized how little time I would have to get from one airport to the next, I called to get a full refund (policy is within 24 hours) within 24 hours. They said not to cancel, that they would find me a better route and call me back. I never got a call back. From that day on, I called many times asking for a better route and they always said they would call back but never did. Even managers did the same thing. They also gave me false information about how the ticket could be used. They told me I could still use it for future travel if I booked it within 1 year of travel. That was false information according to the actual airline. So we paid over 1300 dollars for absolutely nothing and never got so much as a call back from a single customer service rep.
