After seeing issues with my 2007 CX-7, it was taken to this dealership for diagnosis. The vehicle was misfiring and the fuel not burning properly. I was certain that the problem was with upstream O2 sensor as published by Mazda TSB. After the diagnosis, their manager called me and told me to replace fuel pump.

When I told him that the problem must be related to the TSB and O2 sensor rather than the fuel pump, he was extremely rude and asked me to tow the car out of their garage and get the part replaced myself. He was boasting his mechanics for having 25 years of Mazda service experience. I got bullied into getting the fuel pump changed for which they charged me $1200 and one week of wasted time. However, the issue was not fixed at all.

They did further diagnosis and told me to replace timing chain, exhaust and pretty much everything besides the engine. Their repair estimate was over $4200. I asked them again to reconsider the TSB and O2 sensor but once again they did not listen and were "certain" that I was wrong. Therefore, I had to tow the car out of their garage to another mechanic who simply replaced the O2 sensor for $400 and all problems with the vehicle went away.

The Mazda service department also removed my brand new spark plugs from the car and put in bad used spark plugs without even consulting me. The service manager was extremely rude when initially asked to check the TSB from Mazda which stated that the O2 sensor is an issue.

He simply wanted to suck out as much money from me as he could without fixing the problem with the car. The service department at this place is extremely incompetent, clueless and rude. I was also charged $50+ tax for gas which was apparently put into the car. However, when I took out the car from them there was no gas in it. Stay away from this dealership!
