I started the paperwork to start AIU's online program. After doing my finacial Aid. I went to their "MY CAMPUS" and looked at my award. Not only did they take out loans that I did not ask for they were in high amounts. When I called, I was told I should not put a price on my eduction. when I canceled, My advisor told me he would put it in, and did not. I keep calling sending e-mails and leaving messages. he will not call me back. Then I started calling other people. only to get another sales pitches. One man telling me that the school I was going to last year was not a real or accredited school.
This place is an rip off, it nothing more than suck hole for your pell grants and student loans. and when you try to leave they do not honor your request.
Do not go here.

Students Being Ripped Off in Education and Money!
AUTHOR: Carol Ann - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, July 17, 2005
Whatever you do, please go to the Post Secondary Schools Regulatory Board and the Department of Education that is funneling your money out to Rip Off Colleges like Aiu and Bethany College, located in Scotts Valley California and their Campus in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bethany College did the same thing to me. If all else fails, get a lawyer and sue them and make them pay your financial aid debts. Students deserve better than this type of sham treatment. Good luck in your endeavors. I hope nobody else gets treated this way ever again!
