My wife and I first met Alan Rose when we were looking for our first home in Albuquerque New Mexico.
It was late in the fall of 2008 I had called and asked a old friend that was once in the home Mortgage business if he could put me in touch with someone who could help me with a mortgage. This is how we met Alan Rose. Before the end of two weeks he had borrowed $650.00 from us telling us he had financial problems and would pay in back as soon as he could. The next week he asked me for another $150.00 to get him to the end of the month for food. He called crying one day saying they were going to shut off his electricity in a few hours if his bill was not paid that day. I paid the power bill online which was $174.00.
He called me asking if I could fix his computers. One computer was a laptop that would cost more to fix then it was worth and the other was a desk top that was in bad shape also. I told him I didnt have a lot of time due to my busy schedule at work. He said he did not care how long it took. Within two weeks he was calling wanting to know when it would be done. I asked him what happened to his other computer. He said he gave it to his son. I told him what was wrong with his desk top. It needed a new hard drive and more memory. He said he could not afford that and asked me if I could help him. I told him it would take some time to round up the parts since he did not want to pay for them. He told me to take my time. Within a month he was calling me every day, sometimes three times a day wanting to know when his computer would be ready. I reminded him I had a job and I couldnt work on his computer eight hours a day. He called the friend who had introduced us crying asking him to call me about the computer. Having enough of this I bought the hard drive and the memory and fixed his computer and put the soft ware back on the computer that Alan had given me the disks for. I took the computer to his house and put it on his front porch. I called him and told him where it was. He asked me if I had installed micro soft office. I told him no, I only put on the soft ware he had given me. This made him angry and he hung up on me, not even thanking me for spending over $310.00 for fixing it. I did not hear from him for several months. I was laid off from my job. I called Alan and asked him for the money he owed me. He told me he did not have it and he was going to have to file bankruptcy. I checked and he has not filed bankruptcy. He also told me he was going to lose his house. These are all lies. He does not even own the house he lives in, he rents it. I called him again. He would not answer my calls. I started texting him on his cell phone. He told me to leave him alone and never contact him again. I text him back and said I guess I will see you soon. His text me back and said he was going to call the police because I was threatening his life. That was my last contact I have had with him even though Ive tried to contact him.
The moral of this is. Dont trust Alan Rose with any money. He is a Liar, a Thief and not trustworthy at all. Albuquerque New Mexico

Please note that when doing a search on this swindler, that "Alan Rose" and "Alan C. Rose" will come up with different search results. This is important.
If you let him process your mortgage, he will know everything about you. He knows where and how much in assets you have. It's not a good idea to let such a desperate individual know these things about you.

This story is almost identical to mine.
Alan did my mortgage and swindled me out of several hundred dollars.
Then he threatened me when I asked for it back.

THIS IS A COMPLETE SURPRISE. I JUST GOT A VISIT FROM A POSTAL INSPECTOR FROM THE POST OFFICE ABOUT A NOTE THAT WAS FOUND BY THE MAIL CARRIER THAT DELIVERS TO MY HOME ADDRESS. APPARENTLY THIS CARRIER FOUND A NOTE IN MY MAILBOX RECENTLY, I DO NOT KNOW EXACTLY WHEN, THAT IS IDENTICAL TO YOUR TEXT MESSAGES AND RELATED E-MAILS. I AM ASSUMING THAT I WILL HAVE TO COOPORATE WITH THEM ON THIS ISSUE. THEY ARE TELLING ME THAT THE NOTE IS SOMEWHAT THREATING AND THAT IT IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE ISSUE. I HAVE GIVEN THEM MY ATTORNEY FRIENDS NUMBER TO DISCUSS.

Well Alan I will do you one better first thing tomorrow I will go down to the federal building with this email let them take my finger prints and give them a hand writing sample because it was not me. Remember the pen is mightier than the sword and all I have to be to tell the truth! You are not worth me going to jail for there are a lot of people that do not like you check with them. I will also be posting this on the rip-off report, both of the emails that were sent to me by you. Please do not contact me anymore and I will not contact you.
