Back in 2008 I worked for a someone who didn't pay me. Aldon Bolanos said he would work on contingency. Aldon was so completely incompetent that when sent official legal notification for document disclosure, both him and his partner failed to hand over information. This made it so that we couldn't present evidence to support my case.
The defendant notified me of the situation and offered me a settlement. We agreed on a fair amount, and somehow Aldon intervened to stop the settlement, and force the case to go to court. Aldon is a moron who had his eyes on an insane amount of money, and whose ego got in the way.
The judge ruled on a third of our agreed settlement, which was even less than my salary for that month.
