 Alex Goodson of Goodson Realestate Co in Los Angeles contracted our company to do some electrical work for a project he was developing in Los Angeles. At first he seemed like one of the coolest, most successful clients I have ever come across.. He befriended me and made it seem my company was going to get so much work that we would just be catering to his development projects year-round. When we first signed the contract he was eager to start as he had issues with his previous electrician and was on a very tight timeframe (which wasn't an issue at all with the scope of work he assigned us to do..) After completing the job he started picking on anything and everything he possibly can, looking for any excuse not to pay balance owed. 2 weeks after our work was completed the house was rented out.

After 3 months, still no payment, and no calls returned. We are owed over $75,000.00 and have exausted our business operating funds advancing materiel for his project and can't even retain an attorney to go after this scam artist Alex Goodson. After further research on him and his company I've found that we are not the only contractor he's done this to.. He has defrauded over 6 other electricians and has disputed credit card payments made to almost all his suppliers, for supplies which I personally whitnessed installed throughout the house. I've made this report for others he's defrauded to come fwd, and those who have not yet been defrauded to beware! I will be contacting the attorney general, department of realestate, and the CSLB
