Victim 4: paul - Paul Strangio: Hi Eric, Here is the ecrater web store that this person, who says his name is Chris, listed an Original World of Warcraft Collector's Edition. I bought 2 copies from him, from his ecrater.com store. http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=2889417 He gave me a tracking number: 0307 1790 0000 7496 1705 (through USPS) that had an item delivered to some Morro Bay, CA address... (I live in Tucson, AZ) so I knew something was up then. I tried to contact him through his personal email address, which I received after I asked him a question through ecrater.com (before I purchased the two items). It is mcshop24@comcast.net When I asked him about the two items, he gave me his ebay ID so that I could check on his feedback (that's how I came to ebay to find his ebay ID). I have no received a response from this person, through numerous attempts to contact him. I've already requested a refund through google checkout and will be leaving negative feedback in as many ways as possible for this fraud. The other thing is that I know he's received my emails, or at least been online, because I can see him leaving you negative feedback in the timeframe that he should have been able to read my emails. Victim 5: eo16 - Edward O'Hare: Dear snazzy_dresser, Hi Eric. Thanks for the email. Interestingly enough, I too was scammed by mcshop2424 from the auction that you saw I had with him. I recognize your screen name from research I did after I was hit with fraud as well. I consider myself to be an experienced ebayer, and while I don't have 12k auctions, I have been on this site for 9 years. I conduct all business here with the utmost integrity and honesty. Scammers in my opinion are the scum of the earth. So naturally, you can see how sickened I was when paypal notified me that I owe them $300 over this fraud. For what it's worth, I never received ANY notification from paypal about what was going on until it was already over. I never had any clue there was a dispute, or else I would have done any and all things possible to fight it. I refuse to pay paypal anything because I consider them to be totally corrupt and incompetent in protecting sellers. They should require tracking/delivery confirmation to protect sellers. I had no idea what a chargeback even was until this. I'm recently married and a military veteran going to school and needless to say, we have little money. It was a big blow when I saw that paypal wants $300 of my hard earned money. We cannot afford that, nor would I pay it even if we could. Don't you think they'd learn by now since this joker has done this multiple times? This entire experience has encouraged me to apply to law school after I graduate (UC Berkeley) next year. It seems you have to be an attorney these days just to protect yourself from the vermin of the earth. Whew...thanks for letting me rant.
