Alibaba.com failed complaint process, poor customer support, supports fraud Internet
After a recent transaction plagued with problems (3 month overdue shipment, defective goods, blatant documented misrepresentation and contradictions, excessive charges, etc.) i used the Alibaba dispute/complaint process to file a complaint against the vendor i did business with through them. they were extremely unhelpful and failed to acknowledge the vendor repeatedly contradicting themselves and changing their story in writing to Alibaba each time i present more evidence to counter their ridiculous claims. My case is airtight, with hundreds of emails, photos etc. to support the claims I was making against Luke Hu and Zhejiang Gaoming glass. The vendor was playing a shell game with their numerous operating aliases to avoid a complaint showing up against their paid Alibaba Gold member page. this was evidenced repeatedly in their communications with Alibaba and my email logs and signed document scans from them. Aliababa ultimately complied with the vendor, moving the complaint from the vendor's primary acocunt to one of its documented and admitted aliases, at which time the vendor completely ceased working on any resolution to the issue and stopped responding to emails. Since moving my complaint to one of the alias accounts, Alibaba has had no further communication. It has been 8 days (6 longer than they stated) and there has been zero progress and no response to update inquiries. It is apparent that Alibaba does not want to anger their paying customers, and are more than happy to allow customers to be screwed over by vendors conducting overtly fraudulent dealings. Alibaba dispute representative also routinely refuse to escalate to their managers. the representative i was dealign with was routinely not understanding (or ignoring) requests and very clear information, asking me for the same information over and over and then seemingly forgetting they had it and asking again later. the process has been dragging on for two months and there is still no posted complaint against any of the vendor's aliases on Alibaba, much less any resolution to the defects in materials i purchased.
