I was researching to find a teacup Yorkshire Terrier as a Christmas present. I first found an classified ad on (((link redacted))) from a person that goes by the name of Emily Miller (EMAIL: animal_farms@yahoo.com IP: 71.106.149.132). She/he told me that the puppies were just booked and paid for and then referred me to Alice/Alicia Brown (EMAIL: alicebrown1000@yahoo.com), her co-breeder.

Alice/Alicia asked for $400 for a male Yorkshire Terrier puppy, shipping included from Missouri. The transaction seemed to be going pretty well until she/he asked for a transaction through MoneyGram. Just to let you know, MoneyGram is a form of money transfer in which can be made at most grocery stores, Wal-Mart, and Target; receiver can pick it up at any of those places. Well Alice/Alicia, coicidentally forgot her driver's license so I put in a text question in which she/he had to answer in order to claim the money (which was pointless because she/he could take the money and run regardless). After having received the payment, she/he stopped emailing completely. That's when I knew I just got jacked $400.

Apparently there was an incident involving this same woman from before with a woman named Kim and her family in Firestone, Colorado. This is just a guess but I do believe that Emily Miller and Alica/Alicia Brown are the same person. Emily Miller was supposedly located in California somewhere but I can bet if you search the IP I listed above, the source of the email will be from Missouri.

In the end money is money and it can be earned back. It's more an insult to my intelligence. "I lost my driver's license." Really now, I fell for the oldest trick in the book.

NOTE: Kim from Colorado also filed a report on this individual on this site. If you want more information, search for "Alicia Brown aka Alice Brown".

Word of advice: When you receive pictures of the puppies, make sure they are not duplicate copies that are downloaded from the web. That's usually a sign that the person is trying to pull a fast one on you.
