Our company hired AGI's services for some web redesign work. (They actually billed us as Sales Page Graphics, Inc.) The president is one Alisha Wright.

We paid them an initial fee of $1500, the balance of $1000 being due upon completion. This was on 13th September 2009. All communication from them then more or less ceased after 14th September when they received the money. The promised weekly phone consultations didn't happen nor was there any discussion about what they were doing - just vague comments about redoing our logo and saving us some bandwidth.

They gave us login credentials for a project management site. However, the project was never updated and the project site eventually expired, presumably because it was a free month's trial. They eventually promised to have a "shell" up for us to look at over the weekend of 3rd/4th October. However, this didn't happen. They also promised our scheduled calls would start. They didn't.

On 12th October they gave us credentials for another project management site which again expired, never having been updated. On 11th November they finally responded to our numerous emails, asking for another day to finalise things. Nothing materialised. They eventually told us again on 24th November that things would be finalised in 24-48 hours. They weren't and again nobody would answer emails.

We then emailed them again on 4th December and also posted a message on Alisha Wright's Facebook page to ask them to get in touch as we were fed up with their non-responsive attitude. We requested that they refund us if they weren't going to do the work. They took great exception to this and told us that they were refunding our money immediately by post. When we queried why they couldn't do it through PayPal as per the initial transcation they again failed to respond. They claimed to have also sent our re-design on CD in spite of having our webserver details where they could have uploaded it electronically. This naturally failed to arrive and they then claimed to have sent a replacement, again with a money order. However, they then failed to respond to SEVEN requests for the tracking number of their mythical package. It's more than obvious that they haven't done a stroke of work for the money we paid them and that no re-design or package exists.

Amazingly, Alisha herself then sent us a long email on 4th February 2010, apologising and offering to put things right. However, attempts to contact her since have simply been ignored.

We of course never paid the final balance of $1000, but don't see why they should keep the $1500 they took from us under false pretences. We have received absolutely NOTHING for the money we have given this company. They are by far the worst organisation I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. With their continual evasion and downright dishonesty they have cost us countless wasted hours of development time in our business. At no time have we ever been anything other than polite and courteous with them, maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Alisha Wright's AGI Took Money Under False Pretences - Delivered Precisely Nothing but Evasion and Downright Lies

AUTHOR: scotvision - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Monday, June 07, 2010

Oh dear - it looks like they're going to sue me! They've taken offence at my factual account of all our dealings on http://www.davebeveridge.com/alisha-timeline.htm. It should be interesting to see what their case is.

Anyway I've updated our page with their rather comical response. I've invited them on here to post a rebuttal a few times but they appear reluctant to do so.
