All County Towing Illegally towed Fort Lauderdale Florida

  My HOA recently implemented new parking regulations and assigned all residents parking permits to be displayed on all vehicles. This is a townhouse community with a 1 car driveway and limited guest spots so all residents were instructed (in writing) when we applied for the parking permits that our second vehicle should be parked along the sidewalk in front of our units. I've been doing this since I received the parking permit in October, yet last night, All County Towing removed my car as we slept.

When I called this morning, I was told the car was not supposed to be parked in the street. I offered to share with them the contact I signed with the HOA and they declined stating that they have to hear from HOA directly. As of this writing, my car is being held hostage for $122 after being illegally towed. This company has already had their permit revoked by a nearby city. I will be filing a theft report with the Broward Sheriffs office as well. Unscrupulous business practices and selective enforcement of parking should not be permitted
