All My Sons Moving of Jacksonville, Inc. Father and Son's Moving Movers scheduled for 8 am, showed at 10. They were hired to move furniture only. We packed up all the boxes and moved ourselves. They were extremely slow and took 8 hours to move furniture only. It to Jacksonville, Florida

Movers scheduled for 8 am, showed at 10. They were hired to move furniture only. We packed up all the boxes and moved ourselves. They were extremely slow and took 8 hours to move furniture only. It took over 1.5 hours to drive from one house to the other. It is a 23 mile drive on the highway.

I had spoke to Joe to set up the whole move and he never explained a fuel surcharge or a "overtime" fee after 7 hours.

I observed the movers folding blankets and talking for lengths of time while there was still furniture to be moved. It seemed like they were extending the time for overtime. The lead mover did say that if this move went quick he was going to have to do another one. I am sure they took their time so they didnt have to go do the other move.

They took so long that we told them to just unload the furniture at the new house and dont bother putting anything together or take off shrink wrap. It was all taking too much time for just a furniture only move.

We called the business when the lead mover tried to charge us for the fuel surcharge and the overtime, neither one was explained up front. The office said they would wave the surcharge and the overtime fee. When I told him that there was damage to a antique piece of furniture the mover said that they could not have dont that and got a little indignant. The "owner" Steve was also unprofessional and started to elevate his attitude. He did, however, say that he would have someone come out and look at the furniture. When the owner of the furniture got on the phone to talk to him, he would not explain the process again and that he didnt have time to explain the process to everybody. She was rather furious and he proceeded to berate her and be extremely unprofessional. I got back on the phone and he told me that he was now not sending anyone out and he basically didnt care any more. He said we could sue, take him to court or whatever because they had a "team" of lawyers to handle people like us.

During this entire conversation ( about 30 minutes), the moving crew proceeded to basically throw the rest of the furniture in rooms. The Waterbed in the Master room was twisted like a pretzel and totally taken apart. There is glass missing to end tables. They majorly scratched a teakwood floor in the front office and broke the bed in the spare room, which was brand new.

We went with this company because they advertised they were professionals, bonded, their people were all tested for drugs and seemed like they would offer a better product.

We are totally taken back of the uncaring, unprofessional and vicious attitudes of the company, owner and employees. We still scratch our heads and wonder how they could be so bad. I am in the Customer Service Business for CSX and I have never seen or heard such blatant disrespect for the owners of property they were hired to professionally move.

We have pictures of all the damage dont and have not heard anything from the company. They do not return calls of voicemails.
