I hired All State Moving Services, LLC to coordinate my move from South Carolina to Arkansas. It was explained to me, by their When the movers arrived in SC at my home, they took over 6hrs to load a 28ft. moving van and stated I had taken up more space than quoted.
This would be an extra charge. This was to a tune of 970cf vs. 1500cf. When the company arrived to deliver my belongings, they were not in a semi, they were in a 28 ft straight truck identical to the SC crew and it was only 1/3 full. When the original crew left SC, the truck was fully loaded.
I don't understand what happened between SC and Arkansas, but I refused to pay until the truck was unloaded. The Driver refused to unload till paid. He took my belongs and left and refused to tell me where they were taking them. I found out after the fact, that this company stated on their website that they are BBB accreditted, when in fact, they are not and to date their are 15 open complaints against them with the BBB.
This is a classic case of Consumer Beware.

I am still waitting on my belongings, but have filed another report to the Federal Motor Carriers Association and received a call from them today. They are issuing a letter to the company today, maybe they will sit up and take heed. Also have contacted the Attorney General of Arkansas. My next move will be to the U.S. Attorney General's office. I won't stop till I get to the president.
I don't want them to be able to breath fresh air when I get done. They don't deserve it. I work in the medical profession and if I treated my patients in this manner, I would not have a job very long.

Here it is, February already and I still do not have my belongings trucked in from SC in January! Spoke with an attorney about this problem and come to find out that the copy of the contract I signed is ,in fact, not the original contract. Imagine that! There are other complaints involving this company on the Federal Motor Carriers Saftey Administration (FMCSA) Household Goods Program website.
I am fully prepared to institute the "Ripoff's Revenge". Will keep you updated on my progress. I don't and won't let these sleeze-bags get away with this. They are the lowest scum on the Earth. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB, The Federal Trade Commission, The Arkansas Attorney General's Office , and the Federal Interstate Commerce Commission.
I don't want these guys to ripoff anyone else.
