My name is Gary Jenkins; I went to work for Alan Ritchey
last December pulling Crude Oil for Plains All-American Pipeline.

Lured in by the promise of big bonuses of $5000.00 sign on and a $1000.00 per
month Safety bonus, in which I have only seen $1,500.00 of.

After working 2 weeks I could see that some of the leases that Plains
dispatched me on were quite longer than the normal of 4 or 5 miles off of the
pavement, in fact up to 12 miles on rough lease roads.

I talked with the Odessa terminal manager of Alan Ritchey and he said that he
would see what he could do.  He came back with the offer from Valley View
Texas, of any lease that was over 30 min into would be paid at $23.00 dollars
per Hr plus the usual .45 per mile and .24 per bbl.  Last week the terminal
manager resigned from being over worked trying to be manager and truck repair
man.  After this happened I was told that I would no longer be paid
Extended Driving Time.  Wanting to clarify that the old leases would be
continued to be paid on what we agreed on I was told that I needed to stop
bothering the Odessa Terminal with petty questions; I live and work around the
Artesia - Lovington NM Area.  Let this be a lesson of what not to do; what
I should have done was went straight to work for Oxy pulling Crude Oil for
$23.00 per Hr.

Other drivers that are out there please listen beware of Alan Ritchey's big
promises when you question with integrity you will be burned!  I had to
watch every check I always had loads missing from my pay as well as Extended
Driving Time that we agreed upon.  I according to HR will not be paid any
Safety Bonus that I have even already earned; my next check should have had
over $2,000.00 in bonuses now $0.  Driver's Beware of this company!
Alan Ritchey, Valley View Texas.

Bonus Paid

AUTHOR: Grant - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, May 13, 2014

In rebuttal to the former report.  Bonuses are paid regularly.  I am a driver for the comapny and work in the oilfield division and have been now for over a year. Not once have I missed a bonus including every bit of my $5000 Sign on bonus and over $4000 in safety bonuses not to mention the over $90k I made haulimg crude.  In fact, in the beginning at orientation it states in the handbook that you "have to be employed by the company at the time that the bonuses are paid out" The only reason a driver would not receive their bonus is that there was an issue (example: oil spill, frequent inaccurate tickests/paperwork, or they quit or wrecked a truck).  Other then that everyone I've worked with present and past have recieved every cent of their bonus that AR promised. AR has kept every promise committed to me.  Sure we have growing pains as do all oilfield companies.  We are a performance driven industry and our pay reflect our performance weather its good or not.
