Allen & Lewis Law Firm Allen Lewis Law Firm Very rude and tried to be intimidating, he supposedly transferred me to his supervisor just to give me their mailing address. I do not believe they are truly a law firm. Acted as if I owed them $$, in Jacksonville, Florida

I received a call from a guy, screaming my social security # & insisting that I verify the information. When I asked that he identify himself, I was told that I had broken the law and had misrepresented myself. He also stated that I had given incorrect information on an application (my address), but yet he was screaming my address. When he finally explained that he was calling in regards to a debt at the music store, I was like ok. When I inquired about his mailing address, a phone number and something in writing, he acted as if he was offended. He got loud and began speaking of all the information they supposedly had on me. I finally asked why did he NOT have my checking account number. This only made him angrier. Finally he stated that I would need to speak with a supervisor, if I truly wanted a mailing address. After holding for a while, another guy comes on the line and pretends to be the nice guy. He gave me a mailing address and discussed a billing plan with me. Once I got home, I googled this company and found this website. I will call the music store, first thing in the morning, to verify that this the company that they have sent my account to. Strange thing is, they refuse to send me any paperwork. He stated that I been sent a letter, but I have not received anything from this company. This seems strange and he kept insisting that he would take me to court and that I would need an attorney. I asked why, since I do not have to show up. I told that the most they could do was garnish my wages but he insisted that I had committed a theft and falsified documents. I do not trust this company and it may be better to just get sued! At least then I would have the paperwork verifying that this account had been paid in full.
