ALLEVIATION PEST CONTROL SOCRATES BRYANT, (ALIAS): DEMETRIUS BRYANT inhumane treatment/cruelty to domestic animals;/abandonment/neglect during trapping, unaccounted for trapped animals FORT WASHINGTON Maryland

This is regarding a 'pest control' company, of all things, parading as an 'animal trapping' company & obviously not aware of the difference between the treatment of domestic animals vs. insects. My grievance is regarding this said company, that the property owner of the mobile home park where I reside hired to trap stray cats, and their acts of negligence and abuse regarding the carrying out of this task. Some neighbors & I have been practicing TNR (animal rescue) here for many years & the property owner suddenly decided to crack down regarding the stray cat population here.This time she hired this pest control company which as far as we neighbors have seen, consists of 1 employee: the owner. His 1st act of neglligence & cruelty was on 7/4/13 when he abandoned his traps in over 100 degree weather for a total of 20 hours w/no water in them & inside a lot surrounded by a barbed wire fence so we could not access them in case of an animal suffering & he did not return for them until the next DAY! By the next night, he was seen putting a trap w/my neighbor's kitten in it IN HIS TRUNK. When we confronted him by phone, he unapologetically downplayed the incident & lied that 'his PARTNER FORGOT to return for the traps' (we have never seen a partner), that he only put the trap in his trunk to deter neighbors from approaching him, but withdrew it upon leaving the area (which was a lie because someone followed him) & simply that it willl never happen again & actually got bellligerent when I threatened to expose his business' negligence & he was solely concerned @ saving face for his company. He also trapped & took eartipped cats to our county's Animal Control which according to law: those cats are supposed to be freed where they were trapped. Also there are 4 cats (that we know of at least) that he claims to have trapped & that we know never arrived at Animal Control because their # of cats he delivered is 4 less than his.

I would like this complaint to be published for other future unfortunate, unaware customers & also I would like the legitimacy of this pest control company's permit to trap domestic animals to be looked into & also his acts of animal cruelty & neglect as well as unaccounted for transported animals since it is illegal to relocate stray animals. I have already consulted our county's Animal Control on 7/4/13 & received no reply. I also consulted our county's SPCA & Alley Cat Allies,both to no avail.
