Alliance asset management called my work several times a day for about a week, even after being told  That I can not accept calls at work and they must call my cell. They were rude and harassed my office personal. I am now filing a lawsuit against them for violating the debt collection act. Anyone else that is harassed by this co. should do the same .

I already did all that and they are continuing to call. My atty has told me that there are several violations of federal law  and he took the case. I have 2 letters from  the 2  people at my co. that are willing to testify. Thanks

No need to hire an attorney yet: Send the collection agency a letter via Certified Mail + Return Receipt (do not use regular mail) stating:

Per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I am requesting that you cease all communications with me at my place of employment. I cannot accept personal calls/visits at work. Receipt of this letter is being officially time stamped by the US Postal service.

It would speed things up to fax this same letter to them with the Certified Mail number on it
