After months of looking unsuccessfully for California healthcare coverage, we contacted First Health.com out of Florida who promised full low cost coverage for health, vision and prescription starting immediately. They insisted on payment immediately via credit card with a 30 day right to cancel if we didn't like the coverage. The first agent, Veronica, stated different coverage before turning over the call to Michael who changed most of the coverage plan and lowered the prices. Initially he said dental was included and could not be removed, but later when the call was given to the verification agent, Kim, to complete the sale she said dental was removed, to lower the costs even more. Cost of coverage came to $427 the first month and then $367 thereafter. Kim started to record the verification process and mentioned a new name to us - Alliance for Consumers USA Plan, whereupon we stopped the recording and was connected to another person Kristen who started to explain the connection between First Health.com and Alliance for Consumers USA. She was talking really fast and would not let us interrupt her. While listening to her we googled both companies and read many negative/scam reports on them. We told Kristen we were no longer interested in their product as it might be a scam and she became bullying, telling us we would no longer ever be able to do business with them again. We immediately cancelled our credit card.
