alliance one Signal Credit Misappropriation of monies and theft Gig Harbor, Washington

     I had received a ticket in my home town, that I could not hope to afford all at once. They sent me a notice that I must enter into contract with Signal Credit (Allience One) or lose my drivers license. So I entered into a contract under threat and duress, to my livelihood and ability to provide for my family, which is my life and the lives of my children.

    After I entered into the contract for the ticket for my home town, I then called Olympia DMV to see if they could even do that. Not only did they assure me that they could but that they jumped the gun and already did. I asked if they could do that, they said that they could not. I went to the court clerk's office and asked, they said it was a mistake and immediately removed the suspension. I still had to pay the $150 reissue fee plus entire new license fees.

     Well I kept my contract and payed my monthly payment, but I noticed that the ticket amount never went down. Rather, it was getting higher and higher. I called a few times and was told not to worry about it that reports were being made to the court to the contrary. I made several complaints to the court clerks office and she told me to write a letter to the judge that the amount is unfair to me. I dared not, granted it is severally unfair I never complained about the amount just that the more I paid the higher it went up.

    I received a letter of threat to suspend my license yet again for the very same ticket. I went to the court clerk again and found once again it is already suspended. I was directed right back to Signal Credit, which I called and they wanted the entire amount of the original ticket plus which is severally larger now. I asked what happened to all the payments and they said they used them for something else. Sorry about my bad luck.

     I went back to the court clerk and told her what happened and what they said. She said that that was impossible and to check my contract with them. I told her that I made a contract with them at her courts direction (threat and duress) for that ticket only. She told me that they cannot misappropriate funds from a contract for anything other then that contracts ticket.

     I went back home again and called Signal Credit again and they told me that if I would (be dumb enough to fall for another scam) make another contract that they promise to pay on the contracts correct ticket, "from now on."

     I am looking at my original contract and corresponding receipts and they all only list the ticket that the court directed me to set up a contract for, yet, I am being told now by Signal Credit that it went everywhere but that ticket. Now I sit here fired from my job and with a suspended license and multiple days in jail and out all the money I paid for this ticket over the last year due to this.
