Alliance One Asking for money I do not owe San Diego California
*Consumer Comment: Check with city and county authorities
Cory Clemens account manager for Alliance One called to tell me I owe money for an unpaid ticket, he mentioned a license plate number which I never heard of. I told them they had the wrong person to no avail. I asked for some type of documentation and all I got was a fax with an amount of 439 dollars and my name in it, no driver's license number, no social security. I think they are fishing to see if I would bite the hook, but it bothers me he threatened to have my credit affected and my license suspended. What resources do I have?

Make sure it's not a foul up on their part. Also, find out which one i shiring this deadbeat bottom feeder and file a complaint with the local government who hired them. When you know for a fact that is not your ticket, then send the bottom feeder a Cease Communications letter telling the dirtbag it's not your ticket to pay.
Monitor your credit reports. They can't get your license suspended for this. These are civil matters not traffic violations and it can't affect your insurance, either.
