In June of this year, my small business received a phone call from one of the managers, with Alliance Residential, to use my services for temp to perm staffing. In addition, the corporate office asked if my company would pay 5 of their employees through my company, due to the fact that these employees were not cleared for hire yet with their company.

Being eager to receive the work, I said "yes" with the contingency that I be paid immediately or witin 30 days of invoice date. In this period, my company paid out $15,000 to their employees. When I tried to collect from this company, they always said, "they received funding every month, and I may be included in the next check run". Needless to say, this didn't happen.

It took until September to receive payment from June and July invoices. To cover my payroll, I factor all invoices with a local factoring company to cover expenses. This was explained in a letter we have all our clients to sign. Since they have not paid, I have had to pay back every cent that I invoiced with this company, along with penalties for late payments, penalties for late state and federal taxes, and have been forced to move to a cheaper location and layoff my entire office staff.

I have not been alble to cover payroll for my other clients because of their unethical actions. I have also incurred attorney's fees to collect this money. For a company to have so many real estate developments worldwide, it is amazing that they cannot pay vendors here in the ALtanta,Georgia area.

Several vendors that services their multifamily developments (apartment communities) here in Atlanta are out thousands of dollars and some have gone under because of this company. I have yet to receive my remaining $10,000 owed to me from this company. My husband's plumbing company has yet to receive his $3,000 owed since April from this company.

Apartment management companies like these are practicing these types of behaviors and it is causing businesses to go under and persons to lose jobs here in the Atlanta and surrounding areas. Please be aware of this company. They practice what I call, "theft of services". They use your services but have no intentions of paying you until you raise hell.
