I am on the no call telemarket program. However, every evening around 7pm, Allied Interstate calls my home. The phone rings three times and the caller hangs up. A message is not left.

Tonight I called the 800 number and a person named "Bill" anwered. I told him that i did not know hsi company and wanted him to take me off his nightly call list. He just asked by area code and hung up. No explainations.....

This behavior is not acceptable. Hopefully this has not happened to others.

Allied Interstate is not a telemarketer. They are a collection agency, and are not subject to the do not call registry.

You need to send them a cease communication request by certified mail/ RRR.

Then go online and do an ftc complaint.
