Allin Plumbing And Heating furnace repair , markup on parts Surrey British Columbia Canada
*UPDATE Employee: Duplicate lising
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: Don't understand how a cleaning could have fixed an inducer motor's bearings
allin plumbing and heating although accredited by the better busines bureau is a major rip off, they jacked up their parts 800 % after I checked on my own from the supplier. One service person said that all I needed was just a cleaning after parting out with some major dollars

#2 UPDATE Employee
Duplicate lising

This is a duplicate complaint, it is referring to the same repair addressed at: http://www.ripoffreport.com/heating-cooling-ventilation/allin-plumbing-and-h/allin-plumbing-and-heating-fur-5cq7d.htm
The original complaint suggested that your furnace worked after the inducer motor was replaced. Since you indicated that the technician did not spend very much time replacing the motor (and thus did not do any additional cleaning or servicing), I do not see how the problem could have been anything other than the inducer motor.

Don't understand how a cleaning could have fixed an inducer motor's bearings

I replied to your last complained filed a week before, stating that the price for the 800 or 1000% markup you quoted must have been for the motor only, not the entire assembly, and it was unclear whether it was an OEM part from our local supplier or a discounter.
Now you state that only a cleaning may have been necessary. Last post you implied that replacing the inducer did solve the problem, and that you sent the old motor to your brother in law (who services electric motors) and he replaced the bearings. It is unheard of to me that a heating tech would disassemble an inducer assembly, clean it, and replace the bearings.
