Allison Carter of Canton Ohio Ripped me off. She made a lot of promises about how beautiful I was and how much money I would make if I was one of her models. Allison Carter told me I would get modeling bookings often. So far all I did was pay a lot of money and I never once earned a dime.

Then when I complained that she didn't do what she promised she dumped me as a model.

If you are a model do not believe a word Allison Carter of midwestmodelinc.com/ says. She will take your money and run.

Completely Legit Agency

AUTHOR: Tammy Taylor - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 28, 2009

I have been modeling for 15 years and have been represented by many agencies through the years. M3 is amazing!! They are completley legit and are a hard working group that gets models jobs and pays promptly. They are very attentive to their clients and talent and have been the best agency that I have worked for. I would highly recommend this company, and actually have referred friends and associates to this agency.

midwest is legit

AUTHOR: sgrho3 - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, October 26, 2009

Midwest model management is a completely legitimate agency.  I received several bookings since joining the agency.  My nephew and another good friend also work for midwest model management and have had nothing but positive experiences.  I have had nothing but the most professional experience and advice from the staff since being a model for midwest model management.  Although Allison Carter (whoever this is) may not be a honest person, midwest model mangement is an honest, legitimate agency...with no affiliation to Allison Carter...  Don't believe the sour milk!

Midwest is a Professional Agency

AUTHOR: Tab - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, October 25, 2009

I have been in the model & talent industry since I was 5 years old--Florida, Hawaii...I am a business professional and have had nothing but excellent dealings with Midwest Models, Suzanne Fischer(currently) and Allison Carter(prior).  It was actually Allison Carter that got me back into the business again, when My Live Person held a casting in Canton...I just got tired of driving to Cleveland for castings.  Jobs were what they were promoted to be and payment was handled in a very prompt manner.  Suzanne has done a great job taking the agency to the next level.

I have been booked very regularly and with clients like Fitness Quest, ARE Truck Caps, d**k's Sporting Goods and Mr. Napier's proprietary companies, World Reserve Monetary Exchange(WRME) & Patent Health.  I have nothing but positive things to report about Midwest Models.

In every entrepreneurial venture, there are start up costs.  Modeling is no different.  I don't believe that Midwest ever "made" any money on the start-up costs of being a model...it's part of the deal.  I am proud to be a part of Midwest!

Midwest Model Management is a professional and legit agency!!

AUTHOR: Layla - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, October 24, 2009

I have been a model with Midwest Model Management for years and before that I was with an agency from Cleveland.  I have been modeling since I was 16 and have seen my fair share of scam agencies.

Midwest Model Management Inc. has been a great agency for me.  I have received work and have been paid for everything I have done!!  In the contract of any modeling/talent agency it states that there is no promise that you will receive work.

Any model/talent that would be under that impression is seriously confused and should read the contract again.  If no one is interested in booking a model-how can the agency be to blame for that?

I have been very pleased with the agency and I am confident that they are running professional and successful agency with plenty of paid and working talent.

Please update your records!!!!

AUTHOR: Rick Haberkorn - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, October 24, 2009

This report is very old and needs to be updated.  I have been with Midwest Models since Suzanne Fischer took over in 2007.  This agency is one of the top notch agency's in Ohio.  They are very reputable, and are not like other agency's only looking to make money off of pictures and baffle you with beautiful promises.  Suzanne is a straight shooter and I would recommend this agency to anyone interested in the Modeling/Acting business!  I have had many jobs through Midwest Model Management, and I stress they work on commission only, as all legitimate businneses do.  Please feel free to contact my agency or me if you have any questions about the modeling/acting business.

Sincerely,

Rick Haberkorn

are you kidding me???

AUTHOR: kathryn - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, October 24, 2009

I have been a Midwest Model for a year now.  They have booked me on job after job. I have even turned down jobs.  I have always been paid promptly.  Further, I have been with other agencies who have always wanted me to spend money on classes which had no benefit to me, except to make the agency money.  Midwest Models has always given me control in regards to my photographers or who would design my comp cards. They have always emailed me with "better deals" out there should I choose to get new comp cards/photos.  They have even directed me on how to get free photos for my cards.  I am not a size zero and I am over 50 and Midwest has 100% made me feel comfortable with who I am and has found me numerous jobs to prove it!  When you become a Midwest Model, you are told IN WRITING what they expect from you, as the model, and what you can expect from them.  Their word is better than gold.

This report is false. Allison Carter DOES NOT work/own/consult @ Midwest Models. I am a model that works with Midwest and Suzanne has been nothing but helpful in finding me talent jobs around the Ohio area.

I have worked with several clients doing commercial and print work. This report is false.

Midwest Models made me money!

AUTHOR: Justine Plucinski - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 20, 2008

I am a current model/ actor with Midwest Model Management and I would like to share my experience.

I was contacted by Midwest Model Management in late October of 2007 by the new director and asked to renew my contract with the agency. After I agreed to renew my contract, the agency put me on their website for free and began representing me. In the first several months I was brought in for several auditions and since then booked several jobs. This year alone I have made close to $4,500 through print work, promotional jobs, and video and broadcast work. I will refrain from sharing the names of clients I have worked with, however if you visit the agency website (www.midwestmodelinc.com) you can see many of the models photos and tearsheets. The agents have have been nothing but helpful and always take time to speak with me if I stop in or call. Unfortunately I do not have much experience with the previous owners, but the experience I have had thus far has been nothing short of exceptional.

Best regards,
Justine Plucinski

current owners

AUTHOR: Brown - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, October 02, 2008

My young son is a model for a Cleveland/Pittsburgh based modeling agency. He has worked for them for two years and has worked consistently around the regional area. A subsidiary of the Arthur Middleton Holdings company requested my son for a photo shoot two times in December of last year. They paid him the standard model's scale wage and were very professional. They treated him with gentle respect and tended to his needs in a compassionate manner. On the first assignment, he worked almost a full day and the company treated us to a lunch, as well as, refreshments. My son was given frequent breaks and down time in order to maintain his focus. I would allow my son to work for this company again.

I would not have accepted another job from them if they had not treated us in a professional manner.

More on the new ownership

AUTHOR: Chris Pugh - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, August 01, 2008

Since Allison was a former business owner of Midwest Model Management before we purchased the business, we can't comment on what happened before we took over in October 2007.

However, we can say we're excited about what we've done since that time.

We currently have 185 models, 135 of them are new since we acquired the company. Many of our models have already been booked in local print advertisements and television commercials.

Sincerely,

Chris Pugh

I Didn't Know You Could Market Models to Companies That Are No Longer in Business

AUTHOR: Zachary - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 30, 2008

What a joke, midwest models is a scam, girls, please don't go there, they were ran out of Akron when they were under the different name of Z-Models and the attorney general made them pay all the money back, so if they stole from you, Marc Dann who is the attorney general now will get your money back for you, he can trace the records and show they are in cahoots, he is a Democrat and Democrats play fair and don't like big business that take on little people and scam them around. I drove by this joke of a place when I was on my way out to meet a friend out at Cheers in Jackson Township, this place is always empty, no models whatsoever, my daughter wanted to go their, but she has blonde hair and I know how easily they like to suck the little blonde girls in because they sell them on that 'you're so cute ' crap. What girls they did have there, I chased away, I handed out flyers in the parking lot to any girl I even THOUGHT was going near there. They knew I was not some jealous girl, since I am a guy they took me seriously, I did not want this to happen to my daughter. I handed them flyers directing them to this website and givin them tips on fake modeling agencies. This agency operates just like Barbizon and Pro-Model Talent in Akron, look them up as well and you will see the scams. By the way, 'Under New Management' is slang for 'woops I got caught so I sold the business to my brother, but he's just as crooked as I am.' How can they post on July 17th that one of their customers is Hoover Vacuum, when Hoover did massive layoffs in 2006, and closed their business four months ago and it was all over the Repository, but as we all know, trailer trash does not follow the news nor can they read, the company no longer exists, just like this fake modeling agency.
