In April of 2011 I needed to hire movers to move my property and store it. I looked around for good deals. I also wanted a REAL company because I figured they would care for my property while moving it. MISTAKE #1 I found a great company (so I thought) on Craigslist. They charged $29.99 an hour and gave the first months rent free! from that second on it was a disaster. I hired them for Friday and Sunday after noon at 4 pm they were finally moving my stuff. After they canceled with me twice, I had decided to hire someone else. They called me and also told me I would recieve 20% off if I stayed with them. I did stay with them and when they handed me my bill at 8:30 in the evening I was paying $350.00 for 2 bedroom sets/ living room/dining room/office and patio furniture to be moved!!!!At that point I had no other choice. I went a few days later to add the rest of the stuff they failed to put in my storage. When I walked in my mouth dropped. The storage facilty is a factory they pile your stuff to the ceiling and saran wrap your area. YES SARAN WRAP your area! I asked them how long they had been in business they said 20 years and again I had no choice. My monthly bill was to be $88.00 a month. In August of 2011, I called the company and told them I would be sending 2 money orders. One was for August payment the other for September. i wanted to move out of the storage. On August 31st I recieved a letter that I had 10 days to pay $1400.00 in past due charges on my storage. If I didnt pay they would auction my belongings. I called the State of Arizona weight and measers and they called Chandler PD to the facility. I handed the officer my invoices and the owner was irrate! He went off the wall he had his secretary change her invoices and then he had the gall to say it was different paper that I had changed it!!!!!The police officer then called his legal advisor. He then asked the owner if it was a self service storage and he said no. Which was a lie to the officer. The officers legal advisor stated the property was ALLSTAR MOVERS unless I went to court and stopped him from selling it because it had in fact been there!  My life was in my storage!!!!!!!! As I was walking away the owner said "I'm going to auction your stuff tomorrow". I am now in the legal process to recover my belongings. Do not let this happen to you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
