Allstate Insurance Company I called 1-800-Allstate and was placed on hold for 4 hours! Internet

I called 1-800-ALLSTATE to obtain an auto insurance quotation.  After undergoing a very lengthy and frustrating cross-examination by a virtual receptionist, my call was transferred, after which I was informed that my call was very important and that my wait time was 5 minutes.  Over the 4 hour wait, a recorded message periodically informed me that my call was very important and that an insurance representative would be with me momentarily.  Finally, I gave up waiting, fearing I would be on hold for days.
