Allstate Insurance Threatened many times to cancel policies after payment made, double withdrew from account Northbrook Illinois

My wife and I have had Allstate Insurance(home,cars) for many years and had but one claim for a hole in a windshield.

We keep getting calls nearly everytime a payment is due telling us unless we make payment, they are cancelling our policies. The problem is we made the payment a week or weeks prior to the calls. We received a call a couple month ago, from our agent, claiming the policy was cancelled due to non-payment a month or so ago. Sometimes we get an automated call from the corporate offices.

We complained to our Agent, Sharon Waller, and to corporate offices. Sharon suggested that we have it directly taken out of our account as we had been paying on-line and according to everyone there is a glitch in a computer that wasn't crediting our payments for weeks or more.

Against my suggestion, my wife filled out the papers to have it directly taken from our account. We received a call from our agent stating they were going to charge us less in the future as advertised on TV(why did we have to complain to get the discount). The next week(today) we received a call from Sharon stating that they had a computer glitch and they took double the payment amount out. She assured us they would re-imburse us plus the overdraft charges. I am on disability and my wife works and we don't have a lot of money. Another Christmas down the tubes.

Goodby Allstate...Where are the GOOD HANDS??

This happened last Christmas with her car finance company they said "whoops it is a computer glitch" taking out a double payment in December. They did not return the money but credited her account..........Merry Christmas.
