Allsups Conveinence Store HURT AT THE STORE RECEIVED 40 STITCHES ON LEG DUE TO BOTTLES BREAKING CASHIER DID NOTHING Ripoff Carlsbad New Mexico

I went into the store to buy some beer and when I grabbed the handle to the carton, not only did the handle break but the bottles fell from the bottom of the box onto the floor and broke. Glass shattered everywhere and when I looked down I noticed I was bleeding on my right leg. The cashier didn't notice anything until I went to the front of the store. She never bothered to assist me in any kind of way. Another customer helped me to clean my leg and at that point sit down. The customer also called an ambulance. I was taken to the local hospital where I received 40 stitches to my right leg. I have a 5 yr old and a 4 month old. I am on crutches and it is very difficult to care for my children properly.

Allsups insurance company did call me and say that they would NOT pay for any medical costs or anything at all due to the fact that the cashier gave a different story. The cashier stated that I almost dropped it and tried to catch it with my leg. That is a false statement by the cashier and I do hope that something will be done to prevent this from happening in the future. The store has very poor customer service.
