Allumiderm allumineye Deceptive, ripoff, false advertising! Internet

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

I agreed to the free trial online of Allumiderm skin cream and agreed to pay the shipping of $4.95.  However, I received the skin cream AND Allumineye eye cream and was charged shipping for both products.

The product seemed very watered down and was certainly less efficient than even generic OTC similar products.

To my dismay, I then received a second shipment of both products and found myself charged an additional $89.95 and $86.95 respectivly for each cream.  I could buy 9 much more efficient OTC products for that outrageous price!

Using their enclosed advertising card that claimed "We want you to be satisfied" and "100% customer satisfaction", I call their customer service number. Twice.

The first rep did her broken record routine of "no refunds or returns after the trial period."  But did tell me that I would be responsible for shipping and charged a restocking fee if I returned my sealed products.  Knowing that would be substantially less than the $180, I was willing to do that.  She told me I would have to speak to a manager.  Who, conveniently, was at a meeting (7:00 pm on a Friday night). But she would cancel my future orders.

I called back on Monday morning, repeated my request to "Tenesha" who claimed that she was quite capable of handling my request and I did not need a manager. She reviewed the cancellation of future skin cream orders but was glad that I was satisfied with the eye cream (WHAT?).  I informed her that it was my intent to cancel future orders for both products!  Tenesha went on to say that, apparently, I had been misinformed, they do NOT accept the product back.  When I asked about the 100% customer satisfaction she also took the broken record approach; "I am sorry that you are not satisfied."  I am now saddled with a $177 charge and 4 containers of useless products!

Do NOT agree to this free trial.  It is NOT free, the product is watered down and ineffective and the company does NOT support their claim of 100% customer satisfaction.  I should have "Googled" the company first; this forum is not the only one hosting complaints against the Allumiderm company!
