I made a reservation with this hotel in February of 2014, for a two-night stay in March of 2014. Two weeks before, I needed to cancel the reservation, and called the hotel. They accepted my cancellation, and told me that I would receive a cancellation confirmation by email. A week before, I had not yet received the cancellation email. I therefore called again, and was told that there was no reservation in the computer system, and I was therefore cancelled.
To my shock, after I returned from my trip, I had been charged over $430 as a no show. I have made several calls to them, and have not received any return calls from a manager, as promised. Of course, when Discover Card contacts them, they are quick to respond to them, and tell them there was no cancellation.
BEWARE! They will lie and will make unauthorized charges, and refuse attempts to contact them to get it fixed.
