I had the pleasure of meeting with a sales rep from Alpine payment Services that did everything known to man to entice me to sign this contract. He stayed in my hair salon for 7 hours that day and talked about himself  and all his escapades except the reason he was there .

After about 6 hours and everyone had left for the day he started his sales pitch. I was very tired and he knew it and wouldn't leave until he got that sale . I aske him to please come back tomorrow when I could concentrate but kept telling me that he would decipher the contents to make it easier for me to understand.

 Promises , misleading and outright lies is what I got and then no copy of the agreement . I asked repeatedly for a copy and he said it would come in the mail, Yeah 3 weeks later I got a bunch of antiquated machines from a company I had never heard of in the mail .

 I had signed a lease with a company that has a FFF rating with the BBB and just in 2012  alone they have way over 1,400 active lawsuits in New York Civil court .

The contract states any legal action they take has got to be done in New York only

Needless to say I  did not even use the machines at all did not hook them up nothing and than other bills came in from Visa <Discover and others that I had not even asked for . I didn't know what to do so I did nothing and let them take out money from my business account .For personal property tax and other things that were just too stupid. I put up with that for about 10 months and then I said enough is enough and closed my business account

 Yeah I was stupid , I made a big mistake by signing that contract without fully understanding it  but that is still no excuse for what they do  By the way most of those lawsuits are against immigrants who don't understand fully what was going on . All these company's are crooks and should be stopped from preying on a naive public Unfortunatly the industry is almost totally unregulated and they can do what they want To top this one off I signed the contract in 2008 and they want $8500.00 by Friday with 3 days notice or I have to pay up or go to New York to court   Thankyou Alpine it has been a pleasure doing business with you

From what you have stated Alpine Payment Systems met every one of your needs if not exceeded them. First off, our sales associate worked around your schedule to complete the sale. After 7 hours of waiting he stayed to help you through the agreement ensuring that you receive the best rates and service possible. Having worked with numerous salons throughout the years we have found that sales people must wait for the salon owner to be available as customers come first and walk-ins need to be greeted and assisted. Waiting 7 hours is going above and beyond to us as he most likely missed other
appointments he had scheduled for the day to assist with your schedule.

In regards to your statement about promises, misleading and outright lies by the sales rep; is this in reference to you receiving a copy of your agreement or were there other items that you found to be false? Since initiating a business relationship with you back in 2008 we have not heard from you about these items. Had there been issues with our company we would have
appreciated the opportunity to resolve any issues right when they surfaced. Had you asked us about the different bills you reference we could have assisted you in understanding each, if they were from us and how to handle each
appropriately. You stated that you put up with your dissatisfaction for about 10 months. Why did you not bring this to our attention in 2009, 2010 or 2011? Instead you wait until 2012 and bring this to our attention stating that we mislead

We are unable to speak for the lease company as they are a 3rd party vendor. Though, to date, we have had no similar issues to what you are describing with this vendor relationship. Our customers are taken care of by this lease company and that is why we choose to use them. When you state they please be certain that you are referring to the lease company and not Alpine Payment Systems as we have no active lawsuits and currently do not hold a FFF score with the BBB.
