Altered Ego Tattoo Matt Horrible Tattoo Job bad lines bad shading changes your requests once you're on the table. LAKELAND Florida

 I was new to the lakeland area when i decided to use Matt at Altered Ego for a large back piece i'd wanted for years.

My first mistake was letting him know how much money i was willing to spend because the first season he asked me for the entire amount to be paid(wasnt a small amount) even though i'd need several sessions. So i let him know i wanted my piece to be broad and muscular with curly hair and his teeth showing like he's grinding them. Also this would not be a colored tattoo only shaded, so he showed me a image on google and i told him no because the image had a skinny body and straight blown out hair totally disagreed with the image he showed me beside its body positioning facing straight on looking at you. After the concept was shared i laid on the table.

After about 4 hours he said he'd finished the outline and since it was on my back i could'nt watch while he was tattooing, so i stood in-front of the mirror looking and instantly being disappointed he'd tattooed the same image on google on my back it was long and skinny with abs that looked like a centipede shell no resemblence of abs the hair was blown out and the lines were crooked not connecting and i hated it as i told him all the things i'd said before! He gave like a oh and said he could fix the hair and abs so i laid down for about 1 more hour but to no surprise it still sucked, so he told me to wait 2 months then schedule a session so he could fix and add shading.

3 months later i was back i let him know i did not want him to shade this session just to fix and add scenery behind my image he agreed so i laid down. After 2 hours he said he was done so i got up to check it out and was totally disgusted he had shaded the entire tattoo the whole time and his shading sucked because the image was now a black blob with no details or highlights just a entire BLACK BLOB! I was so upset that i could only just leave, said i was coming back in 2 months for the background to be completed but NEVER RETURNED. I dont walk around without a shirt at the beach i wear tank tops. i showed my tattoo to someone i was referred to and he was disgusted also with the lines and shading he said he could fix it but ive been scarred so bad i havent gotten anything else done and its been atleast 3 years since.
