This company has called almost everyday for the past four months. They use a Robotic message machine, never a real person. Somehow, they got ahold of my cell phone. I don't owe these people any money. When I called them back to ask what this was about, they referred to me as Patti, well, that is not my name. I hung up when they wouldn't be polite. He called back. I talked to him a few minutes and he said, "Patti, I remember your voice when I talked to you in September".. I got even more angry because he didn't remember "my voice" because I am not Patti.

I hung up again because he was treating me like a way ward child. When he called back to my cell the 3rd time, he said, "Patti, come on, quit playing around", with that, I used profanities and he hung up. He did not call me back. Now, I waited three days and called the company again. Explained what had happened. Gave this lady the number I was suppose to refer to.. and she said, "Are you Patti...??". I said, "No". Then she asked me when I was born. I said, first off, that is not how you are going to identify me and secondly, I am not giving you my birth date. I did tell her my first name. She asked me what State I lived in and I said, "Florida". She said, "that is where Patti lives". I said, "I'm sure it is since you called a Florida area code but it is not Patti's phone.

I told her where I was originally from and the State I was born. And to please take me off her calling list because I am not Patti. AND, if they persisted, I would hire an attorney and sue. She said, she would take me off the calling list. Well, she didn't. They have called almost everyday since. The worst is that even on Saturday and Sunday, they have the Robo Machine call with a standard message at "8:a.m.". I do believe this is a violation under the credit collection laws. But, I'm not the debtor so I can't sue for what I owe, because I don't owe this.

I imagine, I could report the company to the proper government offices and see what happens. This is absolutely rediculous. And the other bad part is that once you answer the phone, you cannot just hang up and dial back out.. you must wait until the message is done!! If I needed to call 911, I would have to wait until this message is done. In Wisconsin, they have a law against these calls!
