Always Professional in Moving has the wrong name.  It should be called Not Always Professiona in Moving.  This company is ripping people off.  When they get to your home to move you from one location to another , the workers are instructed to get all the paperwork done BEFORE the move.

You pay by the hour and it takes a half hour to sign off on all the paperwork.  Basically you have to sign off that it is okay for them to steal, break items, and a host of other infractions. There are about fifty items you have to sign off on including that your items were delivered in good condition and that nothing is missing.  I was told if I did not sign they would not start the move.  I had to move that day.

This company also uses employees that have broken limbs to move heavy boxes.  One worker told me he was trying to work with a broken hand.  This explains why a box of my nice wine glasses were shattered, not cracked but shattered. Approximately $600.00 worth of my belongings were stolen.  The owner is defensive and could care less about you or your stolen and broken items.... once you have paid them.  This company uses the race card big time in trying to defend their employees theft and unprofessional behavior.

The three men that moved me spent 15 to 30 minutes arguing, and one man kept moving boxes back and forth in the moving truck to waste time.  I had to pay for an extra hour because of this.

I have been trying to find my stolen items on e-bay and Craigslist.  Don't use ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL IN MOVING, they will rip you off and smile real big all the while storing or selling your stolen items.  The whole experience from beginning to end was horrible.

Always Professional in moving....NOT

AUTHOR: ananymous - ()

POSTED: Monday, October 14, 2013

I read about this story on our organizations bulletin board.  When a customer is unhappy as this person obviously is, they have evey right to "freedom of speech" in telling their story.  Moving companies are very risky to use period.  It appears that the customer planned well in advance for the move.  This person probably had to be out of the house or apartment by a certain time.  I know moving companies have a million liability sign offs..... even if they do not make any sense, to protect the moving company.  Many people have horror stories about moving companies.  I believe this customer, and she continues to try to warn people about NOT ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL.  Listed below are some of the reasons moving companies get away with damaging and stealing people's items.

1.  Police do not make these theft reports a high priority

2.  Moving companies will tell you they need a picture of the item taken ( who takes a picture of every item you put in forty boxes?) or you have no proof.

3.  The moving company will say you could have chosen to have an itemized count of everything ( yeah if you want to pay $100.00 an hour for them to do this.)   This really adds to the cost of the move.   You should not have to do this if the business is professional.)

4.  Movng companies know most of their victims will not take the time nor spend the money to file court papers.

5.  It takes awhile for the customer to unpack to even notice that your items  were stolen.

6. Pressuring people to sign before the move even if the custoner says this makes no sense.

7.  Workers don't take hugh items, just enough so that perhaps their customer will not notice.

8.  It is always nearly impossible to proove your case as a plaintiff, between liability sign-offs and not taking 500 pictures of your items before your put them all in boxes.

9.Taking 30 minutes to sign off on a liability contract, when it is 100 degrees outside in AZ and you want to get started with the move.

I would like to add thank God for social media, it is a customers only recourse against these moving companies that steal and damage your belongings.

This customer in her story that was posted on our bulletin board stated there were no hugh paintings, but small hand painted decorative plates.  Heirlooms from her family.  Very sad...that moving companies continue to get away with this crime.  BEWARE!!!!!!

Insulting your customer...not smart

Always Professional in moving, stated in their rebuttal their customers occupation and trashed her abilities.  I heard about this incident on Facebook.   The "customer" has a good reputation and is very well liked.  She knows exactly what her rights are and knew what would happen in court.   Forced signatures before the move...or no move...really!   She wanted to make sure the business had to go out of its way (in time and money) to respond.  She took the time to make you aware of what is going on in your company.  Most people will not do that!  As a business you did not care about her claim and that attitude in today's competitive market place will run you right out of business.  Social media is a powerful tool!  Freedom of speech in relaying one's negative experience is a basic right. A professional person or company would not have responded in your negative approach to the customers occupation. Your response solidifies that you are NOT Always Professional.

Gilbert Court Found in Favor of Always Professional In Moving

Linda Briseno took us to court after moving her. Our contracts are not signed until the end of the move as she stated to the Judge on 10/07/13. We also have documention stating she checked the truck and wardrobes that they were empty and signed off at the end of the move. At no time was she forced to sign any documentation.

At no time during the proceeding did she show any documention that items existed. Her initial allegation was for a set of sheets missing. Since we were uncertain the sheets existed we did offer to split the cost. She was not happy with this and stated she was filing police report. Her list over the last 6 weeks has increased from sheets, to paintings, etc. I am unsure how these items disappeared as our crew followed her directly to new home and truck was completely empty as she stated at the end of the move.

She let us know she is an unemployed paralegal, I would expect as a law career choice she would have a more prepared case. We will be seeking legal action for false allegations/slander as a Gilbert Judge and Mesa Police Dept. have closed their cases against us due to lack of evidence.
