This guy, Pete's best skill is stealing your money!

I retired in Feb 2013. I have a house in Syracuse, NY. I wanted to rent part of the house out, while living on the first floor. My children are all grown up. They live in other state. They found Pete from searching online, with all the wonderful reviews about him.

First month he charged me 10% plus 50% for first month, and another $415.00 for his contractor to fix the door ($35/hour). I ended up owing him $150. Second month he charged me $130 for plowing the drive way. From all deduction he gave me a $26.30 check for the rent collection. I told him that I'd stop using his service. He said that I have a two-years contract with him. I asked him to show me the contract. He said that it was a verbal contract. He thought that I'm old and disable, but he forgot that I fought two wars. I told him do not show up at my house ever again. He issued an eviction to my tenant who has a young child. My tenant asked me why I evicted her. I told her I did not, and she shouldn't move out. 

Last week, one of his contractor show up at my house. I chatted with him for a while and found out that Pete pays a bunch of general contractor at minimum wage. His slogan is "If things don't break, break it, and charge the owners".

I'm filing a law suit against this guy. My suggestion to you: Do not trust this guy. Hold on your money, don't be naive. His day of stealing is coming to and end.
