SEO Reputation Management at its best!

my pop's and i live together and he recently received this e-mail supposedly from Amazon.com.  Only thing is, we have never given amazon his e-mail address.  All correspondence with amazon happens through my e-mail address...this was red flag #1!!!

I also have never read any of the Rachel Morgan novels, but a quick search on amazon told me that the Rachel Morgan novels are written by Kim Harrison, and Invoker is not 1 of the options.  This was red flag #2!!!

I NEVER click on an address in an e-mail, i instead go to google and find the website address if i don't already know it.  The address provided in the e-mail is NOT amazon.com's address...their address, surprisingly, is "amazon.com" I promptly logged in to my amazon acct. and reported this phishing e-mail to them.  It is VERY important to be proactive with reporting this stuff as the internet moves at lightning speed and catching these criminals is tough without being quick.

Below is the body of the e-mail:

Dear Customer,

Your order has been successfully canceled. For your reference, here's a summary of your order:

You just canceled order 15-6144-52329 placed on May 2, 2012.
