Amazon Amazon is billing all clients for Prime service when they have not signed up for it. London, Barcelona Internet
I have discovered that Amazon both in the UK and Spain are blanket billing all their customers for their Prime delivery service for 19.95euros even when the customer has not signed up for it. No invoice is sent - you only see the 19.95 charge on your bank account with no details.
It is outright robbery of your bank account.
To reverse the charge is difficult and time consuming. The bank wil not put a stop payment - you must get a written letter from Amazon to do so.
I had to call both the UK and Spain customer service - and they make it hard to find out how to do that on their web pages. There is no phone number. You must go thru all the frequently asked questions list and then find a link that askes Amazon to call you.
It is a dispicable business practice and may even be illegal. If any lawyers read this, please look into it.
I think it is illegal in some countries.
