Complaint Review: Amazon
I've had an Amazon Prime account for about 4 years now. I've been a loyal customer and spent around $10,000 on Amazon.. I just recently signed up for a seller account and I had some trouble with my email address so I used a different email address which immediately locked my seller account and my buyer account. I got an email saying my application was denied and could not be appealed then a few days later I got an email saying the matter was resolved and I could set up my seller account. But Meanwhile my buyer account is locked. they said there's some sort of investigation that they need to do and it's been 72 hours no each day they say it's going to be another 24 hours. they won't tell me what the issue is but they've suspended my buyer account and my seller account is locked because of that. I pay for Prime and can no longer use the video service either. I can't log in, and they won't let me cancel Prime. One rep said to call my bank and cancel my card because they may close my Amazon account but leave the subscription active. That's stealing. And due to privacy concerns they can't tell me what the issue is. In four years I never had an issue till now. And they keep emailing me for tax info for my seller account claiming I need to do a 1099K due to being a professional seller. I registered as an individual seller and haven't listed a single item yet.
