I signed up to convert my home to solar energy so that I could save money on my monthly electric bills. We were told we would save 40%. The representative who designed our system who are the professionals designed our system to the max. Our solar lease payment is now $282.31 a month and our monthly electric average is $173.38. We recently found out that the dealer such as Amergy Solar gets paid on commission so the bigger the system the bigger the commission. Also the Vice president who is a female that scammed us was arrested for stealing over $20,000.00 from the staten island boys pee wee football league while she was in charge. The solar programs in my area are government subsidized so it puts into question how bad is the govt being scammed. I tried to file numerous complaints with all types of organizations but they all say these solar companies are not regulated and can basically do what they want. Class action lawsuits are coming.
