On Nov 18th, I traveled from Mia  to Newark. It was nice trip until  I found out that my baggage has been delayed. When I went to pick up my baggage in Newar and I found out my bag was delayed so I immediately went to the baggage claim service.The guy at the office  asked for the desription of my bag and gave me the file locator number. I gave him my  tag sticker info from my checked bag. The guy said that it wasnt going to take more than 24hrs, once locate my bag they will ship it to my address on file, usually ship my bag in 24hrs.

I called back the next day. They still hadnt found my bag. I called several times. After several attempts I there was a very unpleasant rude American Airline personnel who told me dont call they will mail it once they find my bag.  I continued to call because I was stressed out about my personal belongs going missing.  I called 1800 535 5225 several times. With no resolve. only to hear they are looking for my bag. Then I was informed on the third day. One the sixt day I would be able to fill out a QUESTIONAIRE to list the content and pertinent information. I was told once the form is received they will resolve the issue as soon as possible if my bags are not found.

Today is Dec 6, 2012, I called several time this week again but all they are saying is that they recieved the questionaire form and there still looking for my bag.  I insisted I wanted to talk to the supervisor, the woman who works over the phone said "we dont transfer the call to the supervisor" I asked why not and she just said "we dont transfer the call to the supervisor" again, as if I was dump or something and when I asked her "Is this how you do your job?" she just says " Yes, and you wont be speaking with a supervisor. I hung up and called Newark Police immediately at this point I think American Airlines personnel mishandled my belongings.

THe contacts in my bag are very valuable . I am sick of calling and feeling insulted by American Airlines personnel.  I know my rights. My time, effort, everything is just a waste. Time is money . If they cant find my belongs they should resolve the issue in a timely manner. They are unprofessional and rude. Suppose you were  in my shoes.. you wouldnt just sit in your chair and wait for a bag forever.
American Airlines expects me to sit and wait on my bag for more 10weeks.. This is just insane. .I need this issue resolved. Its caused me sleepless nights and a considerable amount of stress.

Can someone help me. Im going to reach out to the media. Help me Howard. Everyone should think twice before checking their bags with American Airlines or flying American for that matter. VERY RUDE
