American Blind & Wallpaper Factory; Aka Decoratingtoday.com consumer fraud ripoff Plymouth Michigan

After seeing another complaint about DecorateToday.com I feel I should tell my story about this ripoff internet company.

We purchased about a $1000 worth of blinds for our new house in November of 2001 from Decorate Today. They advertise 100% satisfaction. Within 6 weeks they started warping. They were suppose to be Hunter Douglas wooden mini blinds. After several calls and emails to Decorate Today they agreed to repair only 2 of them even though they were now "older then 30 days" THEIR GREAT WARRANTY IS FOR ONLY 30 DAYS. BEWARE !

On 1/15/02 we shipped the two blinds at my expense $30+ to be repaired to Elmar Incorporated, 601 Davisville Rd. Willow Grove, PA. 19090.

In a couple of weeks they came back to us and THEY WERE NOT REPAIRED COMPLETELY, only some of the warped slats were replaced. We were very disappointed and I called them and sent pictures to them. NO RESPONSE, THEY DON'T CARE, THEY GOT OUR MONEY AND SO WHAT. I've sent them several emails since but they never respond. I've even sent email to the President and no response.

Today they are all warping and twisting. THESE ARE CHEAP QUALITY WOODEN BLINDS. NOT HUNTER DOUGLAS AS ADVERTISED !

MY WORD TO THE WISE !
DON'T PURCHASE ANY MINI BLINDS FROM ANY INTERNET SITE. PURCHASE THEM LOCALLY SO YOU CAN RETURN THEM. I'LL NEVER BUY ANYTHING AGAIN OVER THE INTERNET.
