American Carport & Structures Beware of this Company - A Total Rip-off Mount Airy North Carolina

I ordered a carport from this horrible company in October of 2016 to put my pontoon boat under, and they told me the expected delivery time was 4-6 weeks.  By December I still had not heard anything from this company, so I began sending emails and making phone calls to get something figured out.  Repeatedly I was told by the manager, a guy who identified himself as "RAN", that my carport was in route and would arrive any day.  Week after week went by, and despite multiple phone calls, my carport never arrived. 

Finally in mid-December, with my boat covered in leaves, ice and snow, I contacted the middle-man that I bought the carport fund and asked him for a refund.  The next day, on a Saturday night around 10:00pm, a work crew arrived at my house and told me they would install the carport at daybreak.  The next day around lunch time they came back and installed the carport, only for it to be missing a very important side panel that I had ordered to keep out wind, rain and weather from my boat.

The men apologized and admitted their error, and said they would bring the side panel the next time they were in Tennessee.  I told them that I had already had enough of all of their lies, and asked them to just disassemble the carport and refund my money.  They spoke to the manager, "RAN", who told me that he would knock a small percentage of the total cost off, including the side panel charge, and deliver me the side panel for free within a couple of weeks.  I reluctantly agreed because I felt sorry for the installers and didn't want them to have to disassemble the carport, but I made sure "RAN" email me a receipt before they left so I could tell he wasn't ripping me off.   With the receipt, "RAN" also ackowledged that he would deliver the side panel as soon as possible and was sorry for how I had been treated. 

In March of 2017 I had still not received my side panel nor heard anything from this company.  I emailed "RAN" again and he assured me the side panel was on it's way.  In late May of 2017, I began calling and emailing this company again asking about my side panel, and was told lie after lie.  At one point they began telling me they would only bring me the side panel for $200, which it only costs $120 from them.  They said they didn't remember telling me that they would deliver this to me for free, and when I pressed them on it, "RAN" got on the phone and said they no longer delivered carports to Tennessee.

From the beginning, "RAN" has repeatedly lied to me.  Reviews from other customers on the AC&S Facebook page say they've been treated the same way too.  I am currently putting together all my emails, reciepts and phone records for my attorney to file a small claims suit against "RAN" and his company.  If you have a similar story to share for the jury, please email it to me so we can file it in court as evidence.  Thanks.
