I received a call from a Mr. James Hardy, from ACR (American Cash Reward), claiming I won 250k.  He would not need any personal information i.e. acct num, credit or debt credit.  Ok, I ll bite, What is the catch?, He says there is no catch.  Since I was chosen randomly after shopping at Walgreens, Foodland, or Kmart my money I was the 2nd place winner. I would be given a cashier check, delivered Privately or Publicly (my Choice).  Knowing this is possibly a scam(lets see how far the rabbit hole goes, I bite some more, "OK, so what do I need to do in order to claim this reward.  Purchase a Paypal card with the 14digit number on the back from stores previously mentioned.  Call back with the pin and pay the $395 admin fee (which included the tax protection, whatever that meant).  Really, that all (still biting).  I have never won something like this before (wow).  He continued with soothing that everything is legit.  Ok, I will go and purchase card (Not really), let me call you back.

15mins later I call back, another male answers the phone with children in the back ground, doesn't address himself.  I ask for Mr. Hardy,  he picks up, I questioned him about the kids in the background wasnt clear why they were there.  I state to him, not really clear about the paypal card, he indicates to buy the 14 digit one.  Since it was already 8pm AZ time, I ask him what time was it where he was located, he mentioned NY is where the business is located again.  OK, I will you back after I purchase card. Call back 5mins later,  store doesnt have the right card. oh BTW you never mentioned what time is it,  I say, why would a company call me after business hours, NY time?  Company is Nation Wide.  OK, I will call you back after I purchase card.  10m later after searching out company: the first thing I see is complaints, ripoffs reports.  I read several of the reports very similar to mine.  I didn't call him back, but I did text him, telling him to quit scamming and get a real job, gave him the Ripoff Reports Link to see for himself what business he was in.  I don't think it went through because he has tried call me 5 times since (it could have been because he really wants to reward me my 250k or because I did say I would mentioned him and his company in my report...Thanks to all who decided to report this.  This nonsense has to STOP!
