On Thursday, July 26, 2002, I called American Credit Solutions because I had received a $4000 credit approval notification. Being a sceptic, I called and spoke with a Melody Matheny and she asked me all about my personal information. She explained to me that on a certain date $199.95 would be deducted from my checking account. Now, I get online only to find that this company is a fraud. Help, how do I stop this transaction before it goes through?
She gave me the phone number of 1-866-411-1092 to call Mon-Fri
9am-5pm e/t. The other catch was that I would need to purchase and item totaling $99 and make 3 payment of $33 and after that my credit limit would be advanced to $7500. Along with this great deal, I would receive a 35mm camera and 100 rolls of film and $500 worth of grocery coupons. Please help me, I need this transaction to stop.
