The service was horrible, the travel agent was rude and condescending. All trip details were forgotten, deadlines missed and special requests ignored. We are not eligible for frequent flyer miles because our airline tickets were such a low class, allthough we paid more than the airlines advertised price.

Because of this bad experience I will never use a travel agent again.

We pride ourselves on our customer service - our clients come back for more and refer their family & friends. My agents are professionals and each client is treated in the most respectful manner. When the client became verbally abusive to the agent, the booking was brought to my attention. Being the owner of the company and priding myself in handling difficult situations with "honey" my first conversation with the client ended up going in the right direction.

Each time the client needed assistance we were there to provide answers and clear up any concerns. We provided the product that the client requested - using Isram Tours for the land portion of her vacation in conjunction with Royal Caribbean for her cruise. The air was arranged through Isram based upon their block space- not a low class of service. The client never requested or indicated that she had any special requests regarding any part of her trip details.

The client had spoken to the agent regarding her unhappiness with the seat assignments on the aircraft - at this time the agent advised the client that American Discount Cruises did not have control over the seat assignments as this was based upon availability since only a certain amount of seats are preassigned and given to the tour operator. We also advised that upon check-in at the airport it may be possible to change seats. We had contacted Isram and the airlines making every attempt to satisfy her request. This trip was booked in March 2004 for travel October 2004.

An invoice went out in March 2004. There were no unusual situations regarding this reservation - only the clients difficult behavior. The clients came to us to provide a product and service - we did our job in the utmost professional manner and did not fail them in any way. I am sorry that we could not satisfy this client although we sure tried. Being voted Best of the Best Travel Agency for 2004 Central New Jersey by the Home News Tribune, having a wonderful referral business and good reputation in the industry says something for American Discount Cruises - Thank you for taking the time to read our response.
