I was going down the road a repo company flagged me down and said they were there to repo my truck that i paid cash for 6 months before. after sitting in a truck stop for 6 hours they realized the last guy that repo'd the truck for them was never paid he got the title b/c american equipment never paid them. then they asked if they could remove the tracking unit from my truck. it was above the sleeper in the headliner. after ripping my headliner they pulled out a gray and white box about the size of a piece of paper and 1/2 inch thick with no wires going to it and it had skybitz written on it. the repo guy said that all there trucks had these tracking units in them and the drivers never even know it. is this against the law? to help me feel better about my lost time and ripped headliner i ask that anyone with one of there trucks to remove your trackers and let them figure it out.
